Hailing from the south shores of Massachusetts, Jeff MacKinnon is a proud SAG-AFTRA actor and working comedian with an eclectic background as a performer and writer. While touring clubs and colleges as a stand-up and improviser for nearly a decade, Jeff founded Carry On Productions in order to produce original, durable, transportable works of art – on stage, screen, canvas and page – that defy the limitation of resources.
Jeff works tirelessly to refine the art of stating his opinions as facts. He is also a multi-faceted actor and host of stage and screen who works hard to make other people's ideas seem like his own. He is the host of the craft cocktail-centered comedy talk show pilot “LATE NIGHT CAP” (Frameworks Productions), cast member of Amazon sketch series “HIGH LAND PARK” (Recycled Babies), and writer/director of the upcoming feature film “MOW” being filmed in Massachusetts June 2018.
He has appeared in national commercials for AT&T, Little Ceasers, and Taco Bell and has been featured on NBC, CBS, MTV, Sirius XM, ManiaTV!, Comedy.TV, and YouTube's insanely popular "Epic Rap Battles of History".
Jeff is also a quick-witted Groundlings and UCB-trained improviser - known as Agent Eyebrows in Campus Activities “College Act of the Year” Mission IMPROVable – who went on to be a regular performer on improved stand-up show SET LIST as well as a Pirate/Director for the non-profit education organization STORY PIRATES, taking stories written by kids and turning them into a funny musical sketch show performed at schools and theaters around the country.
In 2011 alone, he performed at festivals around the World, including the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Bridgetown, SF Sketchfest, Boston International, and Laughing Skull.
His first album “Take Me To Your Mother” (2011) sold more copies than zero and is currently available on iTunes, Spotify, and most streaming platforms.
He tells jokes that he writes. He tells them real funny-like. He once described himself as "one of the best comedians his parents ever gave birth to."
Carry On Productions was founded in 2012 as a fine purveyor of all Jeff MacKinnon products and developments, including various films, musicals, and television shows - both scripted and unscripted, comedic and dramatic - in various stages of production as well as the acting, writing, directing, producing, and comedy services provided by Jeff MacKinnon.
He can't wait to marry his fiancee, Natalie Storrs, in October 2018.
Natalie Storrs is a remarkable AEA actress and singer that brings her heavy experience and training to elevate any production she touches. Natalie is recently coming off a twice-extended run of the Grateful Dead musical "Red Roses Green Gold" originating the lead role of Melinda at the Minetta Lane Theater. Her stage credits ranging from the first national Broadway tour of Sister Act to leading roles in The Last Five Years, Rent, The Marvelous Wonderettes, and 9 To 5, she has proven a durable, versatile talent in comedic and dramatic work. She is the assistant director, co-producer and lead in Carry On Productions’ original series “Critical Darlings” where her eye for story-telling and grasp of tone enriches the execution of a tricky, dark-comedy.
